My dog is a horrible genius. In her moment of frustration (the one time I refuse to pick up the toy dog and hurl across the room) she decides to grip the laptop cord with her mouth and pull it out! Luckily all is right, but she was responsible for the destriction of two mac cords with the last laptop chewing the circular metal piece until it was unable to fit into the plug… bad dog!
The only true cure is a betty croker “cake-in-a-box” stolen from mom’s cupboard last weekend’s trip home, and a bottle of Rose’ Brut from Italy brought by one of our couth neighbors to the housewarming we hosted last week.
Old people KNOW how to party.
Foothill screwed me over on my transcripts, and I am realizing this fleeting feeling may never go away. However,(!) today was really neat, I got to take some pictures of my sister as the ghost that haunts my house. The photoshoot was only inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, and kudos to Colter ho kept the hot water coming and the dry ice in check… pictures of come. After I clean my room which I have been procrastinating on, by tumblin’ and photoshoppin’.
To follow up a birthday/finals week of madness what other solution seems appropriate besides snuggling under the covers with your favorite person, (or cat/ dog whatever…) and watch the entire first 3 seasons of 6 feet under? Ill tell you: None. If someone would have informed me 3 years ago that this would be my fate, I would have run. But today I am cursing bit torrent for not downloading the fourth season overnight like I had instructed it to!! Oh what we become…
I found a new favorite spot for cheap and delicious produce, but soon realized the not so glamorus life of a girl, her bike, and her backpack bursting at the seams with french bread baguettes slipping out the top. My shoulders are still aching, both from the weight of the bags AND the rough and pinching straps on the backpack. I felt like a mongoose in a china shop at this place with my bike helmet whipping every 4’ tall old lady in the gobble. The aisles were seriously like 3 feet wide, and it was PACKED at 3pm on a Wednesday. I hurried myself through my list avoiding all distractions like the organic bok choy, and chocolate covered espresso beans prices at only 1.99/lb!! (i know~!) Feeding 20 people requires a lot of produce, more produce than I can apparently shlep on my back/bike, luckily I made it home alive.
